About Sarah
Sarah Skellern is a Counselling Psychologist and an ICEEFT Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist.
Based in Brisbane, Sarah works with individuals and couples in person and online.
Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative and empathetic. Sarah works with clients to understand their fundamental needs and develop appropriate action to see these met through proven evidence-based approaches.

For Clients
Sarah works with couples, as well as individual adults requiring treatment for a range of presenting issues including depression, anxiety, relational distress, grief & loss, self-development and self-actualisation.
For Supervision
As an ICEEFT Certified Emotionally Focused Supervisor-In-Training, Sarah provides supervision under the training of Dr Leanne Campbell (Canada) and Dr Jenny Fitzgerald (Australia). Sarah is also a Board Approved Counselling Psychology Supervisor having completed the Supervisor Training & Approval Program (STAP) and offers AHPRA supervision.
For Referrers
Holding Hearts Psychology accepts clients who self-refer, as well as Medicare Mental Health Treatment Plan referrals and Private referrals. Allied health professionals are welcome to contact Sarah via email if you would like to discuss your client's presentation prior to arranging a referral.

Sarah will review your information to determine her suitability to provide services to you. This decision is based upon Sarah’s availability at the time, her strengths and experience. Sarah will respond as soon as possible on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Sarah will be offering face-to-face appointments in Silverton Place, Spring Hill, once renovations are completed. Appointments are currently offered online.
